Build-a-Hauler single wheel kit

The Haulz-All UMK100 is a turn-key solution that provides everything you will need to convert your un powered wheelbarrow into a powered hauling machine.  The kit provides enough power to move up to 400 pounds on a hard level surface, 300 pounds up a 2:1 grade. (if more weight capacity is desired, see UMK200 or UMK300)The kit has been designed to fit on most conventional wheelbarrows and usually takes less than one hour requiring no special tools.  All of the great features of our complete machines are included – regenerative braking, electromechanical park brake, manual release, sealed lead acid batteries, smart charger etc.

The primary advantage of the UMK100 is that it is the least expensive way to create your own powerful hauling machine.  Since the wheelbarrow is not supplied by Haulz-All, shipping costs are much less. Furthermore, if your existing wheelbarrow is in reasonably good shape, then why not use it. You will find, as most of our customers have, new uses for your wheelbarrow once it is converted with a Haulz-All kit.  Easily haul materials that would have otherwise been impossible to move. Control down-hill runs with the security and safety of the regenerative braking system.  Although the kit has been designed for use on wheelbarrows, many adventurous customers have used it to motorize just about anything.

The silent, maintenance-free gear motor has a design life in excess of 2000 hours and since the system is electric, you can even use the machine indoors for demo work or other inside jobs. The UMK100 provides a top speed of 3.6 mph in both forward and reverse, which is a very brisk walk. However, the throttle is variable, so you can travel as fast as comfortable. The automatic park brake is not only a great safety feature, but also makes it 10 time easier to dump the contents of the wheelbarrow since you can push against the locked wheels to tilt the load over.
